That's right! I can hear you asking what I've been up to for the last 21 months since my last post. Well, in all honesty, I'm not really sure! It's flown by and there's been so much that all I can do is write an edited highlights bullet point list... (You're welcome)

Here you go:

  • Sparrow Hill - I directed and performed in this BIG circus show with Skylight Circus Arts at St Chad's Church in Rochdale. It was ace. The 60 performers were ace. And I love circus...

  • I recorded 3 voice reels to promote my VO work. You can hear them HERE

  • Performed in new show #HOUSE with Frolicked Outdoor Theatre, in which two completely bonkers estate agents attempt to sell a haunted dolls house sized house to the audience. It doesn't end well. We're also taking the show to Salford on Nov 24th 2025 so it continues to be FUN!

  • Linked to the above I also found out what an Arduino is, and helped Beka from Frolicked with some young people in Rossendale to make some cool art work using them .

  • Took and performed alongside some giant puppets to various locations in the UK and beyond including: Goodwood Race Track, Chester Zoo, Goole, Manchester, Rochdale, Bolton, Croyden, Southampton, Swansea, Munich, Rotherham, Todmorden, Hampton Court Palace (very fancy), Ashington, Camp Bestival, Chester Zoo again (and again, and again, and so on...) and Houghton Regis.

  • Performed as a comedy lollipop lady with Curious Cargo Theatre's Lollipop Patrol in many and varying places around the UK. I won't write them all to avoid the risk of this becoming a massive list of place names...

  • Performed in Conference of the Birds, The Alchemist and Seeing Red with Frolicked at various UK locations.

  • Taught ever such a lot of circus skills to hundreds of people from age 2 - 100 years!

  • Pretended to be a prisoner on the BBC productions of This City is Ours - which is brilliant by the way! And if you look very hard you might see me in the background...

  • Started working as Rochdale Borough Culture Network Coordinator - a nifty ongoing two day a month project management contract with the brilliant Cartwheel Arts.

  • Performed as the White Doe in Handmade Productions Tales and Trails which I also co-devised and did a bit of choreography for. This was a really gorgeous hyper local performance in the Calder Valley.

  • Choreographed some dancing mice in the Halifax Starlight Parade.

  • Dissappeared into the background of Emmerdale as two different characters waiting in different waiting rooms... More Emmerdale to come as I've recently filmed as a walk on for several episodes around the forced workers story line that is starting to air this week.

  • Worked as Associate Director, Choreographer and Design for Skylight's production of Sky-Fi working with the very talented Spotlight Performance Troupe.

  • Wrote what feels like a million sketches for various BBC Radio 4 shows and finally got my first BBC writing credit in The Skewer Series 14 in September this year. Persistence is fertile!

  • Co-directed and performed as a smuggler in a slapstick clowing re telling of the Moonraking Legend at the Moonraking Festival in Slaithwaite. Or Slawit as it is locally known... This was a welcome return project for Kerfuffle Street Theatre - my own baby with my bestie Natalie Speake.

  • Choreographed some very cute flower sprites for Colne's WinterLight Parade.

  • Came up with hundreds of hilarious street theatre act ideas that may or may not see the light of day in 2026...

  • Watched myself on the big screen as part of Hebden Bridge's Short Film Festival.

  • Narrated and produced my first two audiobooks for author Jeannie Wycherley. Both are available on Audible!

  • The return of the Hebden Bridge Summer Handmade Parade! Which caused much very silly dancing dressed as an invading bluebell with a gang of other very silly bluebells who I choreographed!

  • R&D Creation at Lowry in Manchester for a new INDOOR show with Frolicked that involves three women, some knitting, some cutting, a box and a giant spider... Watch this space!

  • Ripon Theatre Festival with Tooti Fruity by Kerfuffle Street Theatre!

  • Directed a 1 act play at the am dram - Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons, which was great fun and something I was super proud of. All thanks to an exceptional cast and backstage team!

  • Waited 3 months so far for a replacement wheelie bin...

  • Did a stand up comedy gig!

  • Finally got brave enough to spin fire. I'm not only performing with a fab group in November, but I've had the chance to work with Mick - aka Circus Fudge - to direct Skylight's Spotlight Performance Troupe again as they perform at the same event! Looking forward to that...

  • Set a loft conversion plan in motion which is very scary...

Well - that's it. I'll try and dig out some photos to make this a bit more interesting. AND I'll aim to update this a bit sooner than August 2027 - although that won't be too long before the new Gremlins film is rumoured to be being released so I should be quite excited by then...
