CLOWN AND IMPROV
Over 10 years ago I met a guy with a certain twinkle in his eye and a sense of mischief that I felt drawn to. He was looking for someone to set up and teach a dance class for people with Parkinson’s, something which I went on to do and which is to this day one of my most rewarding achievements. I am pleased that it's legacy continues to thrive today.
This friendship introduced me to a new world, a world that intrigues, scares, confuses and excites me all at once….
That world is the world of the clown!

I have studied clowning in Puglia, Southern Italy at La Luna Nel Pozzo over the past decade and also ventured up to Venice and Padua to play with some very cheeky Northern Italian clowns.

I'm also playfully involved in our local improvisation classes in Hebden Bridge and Sowerby Bridge, which helps me to keep playful, develop new skills and have a face achingly good laugh!
