Gil has been performing in Street Theatre and outdoor settings for over 15 years and has worked with some of the foremost companies in the UK. These include Frolicked Outdoor Theatre, Curious Cargo, Thingumajig Theatre, Handmade Productions, and most recently Global Grooves.

She takes on various roles including playing crazy singing characters, puppeteering, and dancing. In 2018 she launched her own company - Kerfuffle Street Theatre - alongside fellow fave performer/choreographer Natalie Speake. Gil has also been a regular choreographer for Walk the Plank's Manchester Day Parade as well as for many Handmade Productions events throughout the UK.
